At Mobile FieldPro, our mission is to utilize the latest in wireless network technology to meet the needs of an ever-evolving
service industry. Our commitment is to helping our customers realize greater efficiency and profitability through streamlining
workflow, collect and maintain history for easy access, and seamlessly integrate with existing accounting software. Our team, based
in Birmingham Alabama, is dedicated to building the best field and facility service management product available - easy to learn, easy to
use, superior support, and an affordable price.
In the early days during the design and testing phase of our Workflow Management Enterprise Suite, we felt it critical to collaborated
closely with building operations, controls and HVACR companies. The purpose of these partnerships were to design our software platform
from the perspective of this field and facility service industry. Unfortunately not all software is designed from this context. A
couple of example will illustrate how our software's functionality has benefited from these relationships:
- Customizable Checklists - Planned or preventive maintenance programs are a major part of many service companies
work-load. How can you have a workflow management solution that doesn't both allow the creation of customized
procedures/checklists and allow for your field personnel to capture this checklist information for
reports and historical purposes. Any workflow management software that doesn't provide for this is really a partial workflow
management solution.
- After-Hours and Weekend Calls - Just about every service company has on-call field personnel for those emergency issues
that aren't nice enough to occur during the work-week. For many, there will be situations there isn't someone in the office to generate
and dispatch a work order through the software. With this in mind, we added the functionality for the field personnel to create
temporary work orders from their wireless device. This way they can search histories, perform and complete the service call in just
the same way they would Monday thru Friday during normal business hours.
These are just a few examples that we feel illustrate 1) the breadth of our solution's functionality from the insights gained in the design and
testing phase with our partner service companies, and, 2) a stark difference from our workflow management solution to that of our
competitors. As the service industry evolves and as technology improves, we are committed to updating our software platform to evolve
with these changes to ensure our customers continue to thrive.
