Many distributed service companies are looking for a workflow solutions that will easily fit into their existing
environment. They have accounting software that they bill from and they are happy with how it performs. They are not
looking to change their current accounting software in order to implement a new workflow solutions. Unfortunately, that seems
to be the problem with a lot of workflow solutions on the market today. In order to use them, you must also
transfer all of your existing accounting function to their sub par and inferior accounting solution. Typically
in these situations, either the accounting software or the workflow software is a supplemental afterthought
to their original focus.
Mobile FieldPro has a different philosophy. We designed our software to take advantage of feature-rich
pre-existing industry standard accounting solutions. Our design philosophy is to focus on the unique
aspects of field service workflow management and interface with your existing accounting systems. In effect, our
software would sit on top of your existing accounting package interfacing through a data connector. Once work
items and information are ready for billing/payroll,
Mobile FieldPro can merge the information into your accounting software. Currently, Mobile
FieldPro has been integrated with several accounting packages including: QuickBooks, Sage, Timberline, Peachtree
and StarBuilder. We also have the in-house expertise to integrate with accounting software using non-proprietary
databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Pervasive, MS Access and MySQL.
